SMS Terms and Conditions

1. Program Description

ISKCONapps operates the ISKCONapps FoodCourt Order Alerts program. When you place a prasadam (sanctified food) order through our FoodCourt online ordering service and give your express written consent, we send you text messages about that order — an order confirmation when the order is received, and a notification when your order is ready for pickup.

This is a transactional program only. We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages through this program, and we do not use this program for affiliate marketing, lead generation, or on behalf of any other business.

These SMS Terms and Conditions apply specifically and only to this messaging program. Your consent to receive text messages is given directly to ISKCONapps, is separate from any other agreement, and is not bundled into our general Terms of Service.

2. How to Opt In

You opt in by placing an order on our FoodCourt online ordering page, entering your mobile phone number, and checking the SMS consent box, which reads:

The consent box is unchecked by default and the order can be submitted without checking it. Your consent is recorded and stored with your order. Consent is not a condition of purchase — you may place an order without providing a mobile number or agreeing to receive text messages.

3. Message Frequency

You will receive up to 2 messages per order placed. Message frequency varies based on how many orders you place.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Any charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan.

5. How to Opt Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to the number from which you received the message. Other accepted opt-out keywords are: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT.

After you send one of these messages, we will send you a reply confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to rejoin, simply place a new order and check the SMS consent box again, or reply START.

6. How to Get Help

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or contact us directly at admin@iskconapps.com. Accepted help keywords are: HELP and INFO.

7. Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is outside of our control. ISKCONapps does not guarantee that messages will be delivered, and is not liable for any delays or failures in delivery.

8. Supported Carriers

This program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and their affiliated brands. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Your consent is given directly to ISKCONapps and applies only to this program. We use a messaging service provider solely to transmit the messages you requested on our behalf; they do not use your mobile number for their own purposes. No mobile information is shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
